37 week appt.

No progress .... but, my blood pressure is getting higher and higher each dr.'s visit. It started last week and then this week it was even higher. After taking my blood pressure I had to lay on my left side for them to take it again. They said it had gone down a tad, but it is definitely something to watch for.

I have to admit I am bummed that NOTHING has happened. I'm going to work on trying to stay busy in hopes that these last few weeks go by fast. Each day just drags on longer then the day before. I am so anxious to meet her and spend time with family and friends.

It also doesn't help that I am also extremely emotional lately. I cry over everything and blow up over anything. Everything just seems like such a big deal, even when it really isn't. My sweet husband has been so understanding and supportive. He just listens and is a great encouragement to me.

I am so thankful for Audrey. She is already such a blessing to the both of us. I'm anxious to meet her but I know in my heart that God's timing is always perfect.

I hope you have a wonderful week! My next appt. is April 1st!

Getting Startled.....

I had read about this early in my pregnancy on a blog (surprise, surprise) about a woman whose baby jumped in her womb when she turned on her loud garbage disposal. I thought that was so neat that the baby was already reacting to the noises. Well, this week Audrey definitely has been jumpy! The first time it happened we were at Home Depot and Evan accidentally slammed our cart down. It was very loud and she jumped! The second time it happened I was getting ice out of the ice maker. So precious! - I'm so ready.

36 weeks

I wish I had news to report but everything is the same. I was a little bummed and hoping maybe there would be a little progression, but their hasn't been. I am so ready. Everything is ready. The house is clean, the nursery is done, all of her clothes are washed and hung, the diaper bag is packed for the hospital, but now we just have to wait. I'm not a fan of this part. :(

Onesies!

I sent my mom some plain white onesies that Evan and I bought when we first found out we were pregnant. I told her to have some fun with them and boy, did she! They turned out precious! I already have in mind all the matching bows that I'm going to put with them!

Take a look!

35 Weeks

That is what I will be tomorrow! Still can't believe it! :) The doctor said nothing has progressed, so that is good, for now anyways! And the best news of all is that I was taken off of bedrest! I am thrilled, though I'm trying not to over do it. I definitely have to make a conscious effort to walk a little slower and to take deep breaths.

I am so incredibly ready for Audrey to be here. I cannot wait to meet her! Evan's mom is coming in town for the weekend and is going to help me wash, re-hang, and organize all of Audrey's clothes. I can't wait!

We are still waiting on the glider to come in, but it looks like it won't be in till my 37th week. It was ordered back in December. Very frustrating, but I know it will be worth it!

I'm hoping to update soon with pictures of all the work that we have recently done on the house! Evan has been working so hard!

Happy 6 Years!

On March 10th Evan and I will celebrate 6 years of being together! We met when I was a sophomore in high school and he was a sophomore in college. Its hard to believe I met the man I was going to marry at 16! I am so blessed. He is an incredible husband who I know is going to be an amazing Dad. He works so hard for our family and admire him so much! Just wanted to share some pictures from over the years.
