Our New Dining Room!

We are currently working on remodeling our dining room. We took down the chair rail and boxes, textured, then painted. The room is definitely coming together!

Weekend Playtime!

This weekend we were able to play outside. It was beautiful! Audrey enjoyed playing with her dolls and her playhouse, while Miss Harper enjoyed watching her!

Harper Marie – 2 months old!

IMG_3498

I can’t believe you are almost 2 months old. I looove you to pieces! You are so cute! … We call you “Harpsichord” around here… because although you are soo sweet.. you fuss quite often. Although, as you get older your cries and fussing subside. You are absolutely precious. I am soo glad I had two girls!

Coming Back to Blog World… Hopefully!

We had a wonderful Christmas! My parents came down from Dallas…and for New Years we went to Amarillo! The girls had a blast and did a great job traveling! I can’t wait to do it again next year! Here are some pictures from the Holidays! I wish I would have taken more. That is always my new year resolution. I get so sad when fun events or things happen in our lives and we have no pictures of it. I want to become better at taking pictures of the girls. They truly grow up so fast!

Stomach Bug….

Wow, this past week has been a rough one and I have been very challenged by mommy hood. I have to say I LOVE it though! The adrenaline has been pumping through me like crazy…

The birth experience with Harper was AMAZING! I could not have asked for a better hospital and csection experience. After having Audrey and the tramatic experience of an emergency csection along with a general, I was very nervous about having more children, but after this experience…I would gladly have more! Not to say we will, but the fear is definitely gone!

We got home on Wednesday and Audrey got sick on Thursday…. coughing and throwing up…. While I was up taking care of Harper at night I was also taking care of Audrey…We took her to the Dr. on Friday and she is fine now… Then last night Evan started to get sick and within an hour I followed suit. It was miserable. Thank the Lord for Evan’s mom who has been taking care of the girls while we slept today. She would bring Harper to me to feed and then do the rest…I’m feeling so much better tonight and I’m hoping I will feel even better tomorrow! I will post pictures soon!
